1. Bookings & Reservations
All reservations are confirmed directly with our team via WhatsApp or telephone. To keep things simple and flexible for travelers, no advance deposit or upfront credit card payment is required for standard daily trips.
- Your reservation is confirmed once our captain verifies boat and weather availability for your requested slot.
- Please inform us of your party size and any special requirements when making your inquiry.
2. Payment Terms
Payment is settled in full upon arrival at Ambalangoda Fisheries Harbour prior to boat departure. We accept cash (Sri Lankan Rupees, USD, EUR, or GBP) and direct local bank transfer.
3. Cancellation & Weather Policy
We understand travel plans can shift. We offer free, hassle-free cancellation with no penalties:
- Guest Cancellation: Please notify us via WhatsApp at least 24 hours prior to departure if you need to cancel or change your dates.
- Weather Safety: Ocean conditions change rapidly. The Captain has the sole authority to delay, reschedule, or cancel a trip if sea conditions are deemed unsafe. In the event of weather cancellation, you will receive a full reschedule or immediate cancellation at no charge.
4. Safety & Onboard Guidelines
Guest safety is our highest responsibility:
- High-quality life jackets and safety gear are provided and must be worn as directed by the crew.
- All passengers must follow the instructions of the Captain and crew throughout the voyage.
- Reckless behavior, swimming in unauthorized deep-water zones, or intoxication that compromises safety will not be tolerated.
5. Catch & Ocean Conservation
We are committed to preserving Sri Lanka’s southern marine ecosystem:
- We practice catch-and-release for trophy and breeding fish to support sustainable ocean stocks.
- Edible species caught within sustainable guidelines may be kept by guests, and our crew will gladly assist in preparing your catch.
6. Liability & Personal Belongings
Deep-sea and reef fishing involve natural maritime risks. Passengers board voluntarily and participate at their own risk.
